There has seemed to be more new album announcements than actual new album releases this week, like Icona Pop’s anticipated THIS IS…ICONA POP, the artwork and title for which was released today, and Krewella’s Get Wet, both to be released September 24. Yet while today lacks notable new albums (save for Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros at the end of our list) it is abundant in new tracks, most notably from The Vaccines, Young Galaxy, Cut Copy, and Wild Cub.
Montreal’s Young Galaxy released “In Fire” today following last week’s release of the Sally Shapiro remix of theUltramarine track. Listen to them both via Spotify below while you check out our live review and photos of the band from Festival d’été de Québec.
Dispersed between their North American tour dates, Young Galaxy will make festival stops at Mudtown Arts & Music Festival and Decibel.

Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs gave an uncharacteristically tame performance of “Despair” off of the band’s 2013 release Mosquito at Suffolk’s Latitude this past weekend, although she did sport her signature fingerless glove and the pair of yellow shorts she’s been periodically rocking all festival season (we did miss the little yellow jacket, though).
